Four important functions of information security

Answer :The mission of information security is to design and implement an information security program that involves protection of data and information against unauthorized use, disclosure, alteration or an intention to leak it before time.

The information security performs 4 important functions which are

• Enabling safer operation of application of different IT systems
• Protecting the data which organizations not just collect but also uses
• Safeguarding the technology assets which are used in the organization and lastly
• Protecting the ability of the organization function effectively
